1 - e-LIBRARY CATALOGUE - NEW TERMS

Some of the library terms have changed.

e-Library - the product name of the catalogue used by Eastern Regional Libraries, produced by SirsiDynix.It used to be called iBistro.

User ID - your membership barcode number found on the back of your library card and starts with 20023.

PIN - All member passwords have been automatically replaced with a 4 digit PIN. You will need to contact library staff to find out your PIN. You can change this PIN yourself through the web catalogue.

Holds - Reservations are now called holds.

My Account - My Account is your membership record. It has your list of items borrowed, holds placed, and any bills on your card as well as messages from staff.

Bills - A bill is any money owing on your card. It might be for a late return of an item, a charge for an activity or damage to an item.

Checkouts - Any items on loan to you are called checkouts. Checkouts are listed in My Account.
