If you supply library staff with your email address they can add this to your library record and set your record up for email notification.

You may obtain your PIN by contacting library staff (in person, via the phone or via the PIN application form on the website).

Is there a hold charge?

There is now no charge for placing holds for our members on Eastern Regional Libraries items or items available through Interlibrary loan from public libraries. If we have to obtain an Interlibrary loan from a university or other paying library then there is a $15 hold charge, payable at the time of the request.

When will I be emailed about new books by my favourite authors (I have marked them as favourites in the catalogue)?

You will be notified about favourite authors new titles as soon as the library starts compiling the reports for this feature. The delay has been due to the work done redesigning the website. We hope to have this operational soon.

At present you cannot pay your overdues online, however this is a service we are investigating for the future.

Can I get my hold/overdue notices via email or SMS?
We currently have email notification of holds and overdues. Please advise staff if you want to switch to this. You will need to provide a valid email address. We currently don’t offer SMS notification of holds/overdues.

Why can’t I see the items borrowed from other consortium libraries in My Account?
At present, we do not have access to the borrowing records of other library services, therefore any items borrowed from other consortium libraries will not display in My Account. They are checked out to your library card and staff will be able to advise when they are due.
